I saw this photo on the BOE website. I thought it looked like Joan checking her cell phone.

Forgot to ask. What movie is that from? 1943 Above Suspicion. Not my favorite movie, but I really thought the photo looked like Joan was checking cell phone when I saw it. I’m sure it was Clark texting her for a hook up. 😉

David, I just now added a large version of the photo to your post---now, if anyone clicks on the photo, they can see the larger version. (Before, they could just see the smaller thumbnail.) AND: Funny that you should mention that---I thought exactly the same thing when I first saw it!

"Batman" and "Gilligan's Island" were my two favorite after-school re-run shows as a kid in the early/mid-70s. Which reminds me: Years ago on an old Joan message board, we had a discussion about what character Joan would play if she had appeared as a villain on "Batman." I THINK, if I remember correctly, we came up with "Black Widow" as a character for her. Any other ideas?

I remember reading that Joan’s children referred to the Joker, Cesar Romero on the Batman series as Uncle Butch. 😉

Tom; Thanks for the video clips of two really great friends. They seem to have had a lovely, long lasting and fun relationship. I bet they had a lot of laughs together. I’m glad you posted this. It made me smile to see them out on the town having great times.

It made me smile to see them out on the town having great times. My pleasure. I was scared of The Joker from the 60's TV show, and until recently that was pretty much I knew of him! But, he seems like a cool cat and one of JC's oldest and dearest friends.
