Hey Tom Thanks so my for the very clip on the forever changing scenes and areas of Joan. You always find the best. I love Joan in both Pre and Post and MGM areas. You're most welcome David. I'm getting a greater appreciation for post MGM Joan thanks to the conversation here. I'm still mostly gaga for early Joanie, but it's still interesting to see the denoument of all that early career struggle and hard work that she put in to transition from ingenue to serious actress.

Perc Westmore, who did a fabulous job on Joan's makeup for Damned, was an intriguing fellow. He and his brothers opened a big salon in Hollywood called House of Westmore. I'm now reading the biography of Kay Francis (which is fabulous BTW) - who was queen of the lot at Warner Brothers in the 30s while Joan was reigning supreme at MGM - and Perc realized his dream of building a super salon with his bros thanks to a blank check from Kay!
