Been a long time since I have seen The Last of Mrs. Cheyney. Had an interesting directorial succession. Per Wiki... When director Richard Boleslawski died suddenly in the middle of production, George Fitzmaurice took over, and when he became ill, the film was finally completed by Dorothy Arzner.[2] Both Fitzmaurice and Arzner were uncredited. Also, in the "I didn't know that!" category, per Wiki from the Dorothy Arzner entry... "In the late fifties, she became the entertainment and publicity consultant at the Pepsi company, with the influence of the boss's wife, Joan Crawford, with whom Arzner had a close relationship. Arzner made a series of successful commercials for Pepsi, most of them with Crawford"

I just watched The Last of Mrs. Cheyney. Joan looks absolutely gorgeous. I love hair and makeup, eyebrows and Adrian’s s gowns. I believe she was married to Franchot Tone at the time of this making of this movie. I really didn’t find any of the background juice trivia that I like when researching this movie. I liked the characters and set design. When I watch a movie I like it to be a surprise. I don’t want to know what’s going to happen. So when I go online before or after I see the movie and read the behind the scenes juice of the movie. I like to know the behind the personal things that I find relevant or interesting to me.
