90 minutes in and Joan finally cracks a smile. 

I think Van Heflin is killing my enjoyment of this movie. I don't really have a clue what JC sees in him. He's annoying. I don't think there's anyone in this movie I'm enjoying. 

I'm just not getting into this movie.

Unsatisfying ending to boot.
I'm afraid this is going down
as my least favorite Joan flick.
