I’ve read a few different times that when Clark Gable first came to Hollywood, he may slept with Billy Haines or maybe some other man. I’m sure it was only for the chance of making his big break in Hollywood, not that Clark Gable was in any means gay. It may have been done by someone’s advice or he may have been hit on by another guy in Hollywood that had connections. Who knows? I say, “Yes.” Do you? Let us know.

My guess is that Gable was a horn-dog who played around with whomever in his early years, Haines included. Nowadays, it seems to be a requirement of some sort that people declare their sexuality to the public---back then, though, among the "artistic," they just did whatever they felt like doing (be it sex or drugs) at their parties!
