She was beyond beautiful. I’m thinking of putting together a huge conical college of her photos on the walls of my bathroom. I have probably close to 100 photos of her and her with other famous people. All the name and dates are noted on each photo. I think others would enjoy it. I would love to start my day off with the beauty of Miss Joan Crawford amongst me. I first need to find out how properly do this for my walls. I’ll take and post photos of it when I ever get a chance to find the time. Perhaps my new year project? I’ll use Joan as my muse and decorating inspiration from one of her best friends - Billy Haines.

I also want to take the time this Holiday season to send out old fashion Christmas cards with personalized notes with each one. I think Joan would approve.

Tom I think you’re right about Joan and Clark. It wasn’t bad timing or Louis B. Mayer or being married. It could have been a spoken or unspoken agreement. Why ruin a good thing? Thanks for your thoughtful input on this subject that I have always wondered about.

We still do an old-fashioned letter every holiday season, basically a quick sum up of our year. I do not write it by hand any more as the wife demands editing privileges! We add a little personal note to about half of them - family, our oldest friends, etc. It's a good way, I think, to reflect back on the year, count our blessings, etc.

1920s Joan. So interesting to see how much JC changed her look during this time.

Joan movies, mostly from the early 1930s to 1970. I only noticed one silent / 20s picture, Our Dancing Daughters.

Lots of 30s Joan to go with her later post-MGM work.

Tom or should I now refer to you as your official Joan Crawford fan club name Crystal Allen? With all your hard work and time spent, you deserve the promotion. I’m so proud of you. I love the video clips of Joan that you posted. The background music made me sentimental of how much I love her.

Crystal is fine! LOL. just rewatched a few of Joan's choice scenes from The Women (1939). This is the all time greatest exit in movie-don!

More upbeat background music. What I think may be a Petshop Boys tune sung by Liza Minelli.
